Why People Don’t Want to Be in Therapy

There are many reasons that people don’t want to be in therapy.  Sometimes its mistaken approaches — or less useful approaches — taken by therapists.  Sometimes they are afraid or have damaging assumptions about counseling and what it means.

In this video on YouTube I have listed the most common reasons  I encounter for avoiding therapy, then go through what I feel makes for a better therapy experience.
