I was very pleased to see an additional free walk-in legal clinic in the Baltimore area that I had not heard of before from Jewish Community Services. I am often frustrated trying to find such resources for clients in need.

Jewish Legal Services
Jewish Legal Services, a program of JCS, offers free legal information, advice, and referral services for Jewish individuals with limited income, at a monthly walk-in clinic.
Volunteer community lawyers offer consultation and referral on a variety of legal issues, including consumer/bankruptcy, landlord-tenant, family, and immigration questions.
All consultation is confidential and protected by attorney-client privilege. The clinic is not designed to solve complicated problems. Rather, its purpose is to provide general legal information and advice and/or to direct clients to the appropriate resources to handle their particular problems.
